School's over for the semester!

Well I finally finished school for the semester. Met with my Teacher and showed her my PowerPoint Presentation. I passed with a 100 and for my final grade for the Semester I passed with a 98. I made the "A" list. I have enjoyed going to school and even signed up for 3 more classes next semester. I feel like I have accomplished a lot with just this one class. It was lots of fun.. I am very proud of myself. Is that wrong to be proud of oneself for passing a class? Any comments?

The Ordeal of Black Friday!

Well, I lived through the Black Friday event at Jc Penney. People were lined up at the door before 3:30 am. I started at 4:00 am an we were going non stop till I left at 2;00 pm. Totally crazy out there. Did anyone go shopping early today? How was the experience? I heard a lot of complaints about the service at Wally World. They did not have enough of the doorbuster items. But, I guess that is what happens when everyone wants the same thing. Hope you all had a Wonderful Thanksgiving. Now the Christmas season has offically started for us. Bye All!

Highlight of the Night

Meagan played a wonderful game of basketball tonight. Her first time as a Varsity Bball player. I am so proud of her. She did not think she would make the team but, she is doing an awesome job!! Way to go Meagan!! You go Girl!!!! She has waited four loooooong years to play bball again.

Twilight the Movie

Well friday night I took my girls and Ian to see "Twilight" the movie. I dropped them off and went home with gabbie and Emma to watch TV. They went to the late one and it got out at 12:19 am. I am still tired. I could not go to sleep or I would not hear the phone ring when they were done. I am too old to pull all nighters anymore. But they had a wonderful time so I guess that is all that matters. Hope everyone else enjoyed it too. Though I did talk with Kandy and she said there was one part left out that should have been in the movie. I guess I will have to read the books after Ian finishes them so I know what everyone is talking about.

Christmas in the Store

Well, I had to work very late tonight since it was our VIP night at Penney's. I am so not into Christmas yet. I cannot believe the music is already playing and the store is all dressed up. People were spending lots of money today on gifts for Christmas. I don't want the Christmas feeling to start till Thanksgiving is over. But, it seems like every year it starts earlier and earlier. I would love to KNOW what everyone else thinks about the subject. Please let me know what you think.

Also just to give you a heads up, Penney's is opening at 4:00 am the day after Thanksgiving and I will be there to assist you. So have fun shopping and come see me and say hello. If any of you would like to apply for a Penney's card please come see me. I will get credit for it. Plus there will be lots of discounts going around. Well I am going to bed. Have a wonderful Day!

Court Update!

Hello All!
Well we waited at the court for 2 1/2 hours for just ten minutes with the Judge. The other parties attorney was not coming so the Judge gave us a new date. Court will be continued till January. Every time that we have court his attorney will fax a letter to say there is a conflict and ask for a continuance. I spoke up and told the Judge that I wanted the case heard now!!!! He did not like the fact the the attorney was not there. So he decided to give the children a Guardian Ad Litem. That means their own attorney. So I got the news today that it is their previous one so i am very happy. She listens to what the kids tell her and that is wonderful. So please wish us luck in January that this will finally be the end...

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. It never gets easier going into court time after time but i felt very relaxed so I know that there were Angels watching over all of us.

Hello, Everyone!

Today is a BIG day for the Jarvis Family. We are going to Court in the morning to see if the children's father should have any visitation with them. He would like me to be behind bars so that he could have the kids. I know that is not possible. I just was hoping that you would say a Prayer for my children and I. That the outcome will be for their benefit and that of course everyhting will be fine. The older girls are very worried about talking to the Judge in front of the whole courtroom and the younger kids don't want to see their father in any way shape or from. It has been a tough few months since we were served by the Sheriff's department. Please keep us in your prayers especially my children. I so want this done and over with. I want this to be the final time that we are ever in Court again.

Jessie is missing the day at Governor's School and Meagan is missing out on a Cool Chemistry class. The younger kids will be missing out as well. I have faith that everything will be okay but, I still struggle with the jitters going to court. Having been 80 times in the last 7 years it still gets to me every time I go.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone also for the wonderful inspiration that YOU all are to my children and I. I know that great things are in store for us. My faith has been tested but through the help from all of you I know we will prevail.
